Simple Fall Touches

I'm so excited to share some simple fall touches around my home with you today.

I'm so honored to be included with an amazing group of bloggers for the "Embracing Fall Home Tours" hosted by the talented Amber at Follow The Yellow Brick Home. If you are just coming from Emily's at le cultivateur  home, I would like to welcome you and hope you get some fall inspiration here.

I don't decorate a lot for fall, because as you can probably guess I'm too busy going all out with Halloween decor in our home. But I do like to start adding fall touches to my home in early August.

For the French style buffet in the foyer I decided to bring out this amazing iron pumpkin that I found years and years ago at a garage sale. This year I decided to paint it gold for a sweet Cinderella vibe.

I filled it with a faux eucalyptus garland and white pumpkins. I loved the look and decided to add dried pink roses and a gold frenchy crown for the large pumpkin.

I love the details...even the tiniest acorns aren't overlooked.

Next to the buffet I decided to fill a thrifted french cane back chair with the assortment of velvet pumpkins that I have created over the years.

The green one is actually my favorite and is the only one that I didn't make. I put my Grandma's green brooch on it for a vintage touch.

My spare bedroom is also a room that I decided to decorate this year. As you know, I love adding tapestries to my home as the weather cools off and I think this one just might stay forever on the fireplace.

I love creating cozy spots in my home, so bringing out my warm and fuzzy throws are a must, especially if they are pink.

No matter the season, fresh roses are always abundant inside my home.

This year I invested in some grapevine pumpkins. I really like their rustic look paired with soft candlelight and delicate roses.

The little gold pumpkin on my chaise I actually found at the Dollar Store for $5. It looks like real mercury glass, but is plastic! It lights up too which I love. Lol while I was in the Dollar Store I yelled,  "catch!" to my husband and threw it at him...it was funny and cruel at the same time. He actually caught it, but thought it was a glass pumpkin and that I had lost my mind. lol

I think I need to add more grapevine pumpkins to my small collection and maybe do a large grouping of them next year.

I love candlelight.

I'm very happy with the simple fall touches in this room.

In the living room I decided to display some sweet blush pink sweater pumpkins that I created in my vintage silver ice bucket.

Its just a simple display with acorns and pine cones mixed in with candlelight.

I added a vintage pillow with a lot of texture to my mix of velvet pillows on the sofa along with a velvet blanket. I love this cozy spot!

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my home! Next up is Decorate and More With Tip.

Thank you for visiting!
